2014 Capstone Project
For my capstone project, I wanted to create a space station. I was inspired by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I and II.
The player starts in a jail cell. The floor then explodes from underneath, leaving an escape for the player. After jumping down, the player is in the hallways of the stations. The player then follows the hallways to the doors to the locked doors of the hanger. After backtracking a little, the player takes an elevator to an upper floor of the station where they find the bridge, unlock some doors, escape to the hanger, then fly away to freedom.
I'm fairly happy with how the level turned out. My gripes with it stem from having to juggle the Capstone with multiple other classes and their projects. If I were to go back and do it again, I would find more time to work on the textures and static meshes.
